JAKE ENGLISH HOMESTUCK For a strange combination of John and Jade, Jake isn't as bad as Karkat assumed he would be. A little bit denser in his personal opinion, but the fact that Jake not only enjoys romcoms but is willing to share when he finds a new one puts him high on the list of tolerable humans. interaction | 1 2

GARRETT HAWKE DRAGON AGE II Really weird guy, but not too bad. It was nice having someone offer to watch his back if he needed help, even if it was a stranger. interaction | 1

SCATHACH THE ALCHEMYST A smartass vampire that feeds off of emotion, Scatty somehow quickly got her place as Karkat's new mother figure since he doesn't have Kanaya to fill that position at the time. He likes her attitude and even when she's teasing the hell out of him he wouldn't have it any other way. DAVE STRIDER HOMESTUCK It's complicated. He can never make up his mind on whether or not he hates Dave, but he at least considers them friends. Dave's someone that reminds him far too much of Sollux at times only without the understanding he has with the troll, which causes a lot of problems on a good day. IROH AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER A kind old man, also his boss and owner of Jasmine Dragon. Karkat's still shocked he gave him a job in the first place, but appreciates it nonetheless. interaction | 1

DIRK STRIDER HOMESTUCK Shocked Karkat with how reliable and resourceful he is, the one he immediately handed over leadership and organization skills over to until further notice. He has full faith that Dirk is the type who can Get Shit Done no matter what comes. Which apparently he finds attractive in someone because somewhere between organizing plans, swimming lessons, dances, spars and general bullshitting around he found himself realizing he was the biggest fucking hypocrite of all and flushing hard for a Strider. JADE HARLEY HOMESTUCK A friend who he still holds a bit of attraction for. Though he thinks it's a complicated friendship like most of his relations with the kid's group are, she's by far his favorite out of the four of them. He really wants to take the chance to just hang out and be stupid teenagers getting to know each other better while they can, but would never admit it out loud. interaction | 1 2

JOHN EGBERT HOMESTUCK A friend he hates and hates to like, but John is just too fucking likable to hate and too hateable to like. It drives Karkat crazy and it really doesn't help that he still finds John attractive at times and just wants to punch his face in. But despite that, it's the same situation with Jade where he really just wants to get to know him as friends while he has the chance. interaction | 1

SOLLUX CAPTOR HOMESTUCK Worst best friend. He's known Sollux forever and they're pretty much as close as bros can be. Which means they get into far too many fights and the moment those get embarrassing they pretend like they never happened. Hasn't seen the douchebag in two years and he's more than happy he's shown up, even moreso that it's before he went blind so they can avoid awkward conversations. He'll force the scrawny moody asshole to make human friends if it's the last thing he does. interaction | 1 2 3

GAMZEE MAKARA HOMESTUCK His moirail. Karkat had been afraid of the Darkness, but with Gamzee around he feels safer because he knows the other would never let anything happen to him. He doesn't even care if he's a sweep younger, it's still Gamzee and that's all that really matters. While he's fussy and concerned as he went a while without him, he tries to keep in mind that Gamzee probably needs his own space to think and get his shit sorted out too. He just hopes that he doesn't come off as too overbearing or pushy in trying to help him get settled, but feels better knowing that Gamzee would never think bad of him even if he messes up at times. interaction | 1 2
